Alex Murphy was born from a passion for house music. Born in Guatemala and moving to Montreal at an early age, Alex grew up soaking up the rhythms of latin music, hip hop and pop music, developing his taste for club music and it’s cultural reach. He’ll eventually discover the nightlife scene at world renowned venues like Aria and Stereo where he’ll forge his ears to the distinct sounds of Montreal resident’s David Morales, Danny Tenaglia and Angel Moraes to name a few. He’s love for the DJ artform has brought him his first set of turntables at 19 and became a connoisseur of vinyl records very early on, building his collection and expanding his knowledge of electronic music.

Having spent the last 10 years perfecting his craft as a DJ, Alex earned an acute sense of reading crowds and always delivering good parties. With a style based on his eclectic tastes, Alex naturally blends his influences, joining the dots between yesterday’s golden era classics
