Who am I?
DJ Promille is an alter ego of a guy who started making his first mix in the mid 90's with a compact stereo. Using heavy rotation and rare Rap tracks with different samples and scratches from mix CDs, plus the wonderful behavior of some milliseconds overlay after rewinding recorded tracks on tape, his first Rap/Hip Hop mixtape was born. Despite challenging job-related and private off-times he constantly stuck to mixing music of different kinds from Rap to Eurodance, 80's Pop & Electro to Techno and 2 Step, Drum & Bass to Chart hits.
Using all different kinds of equipment from turntables, CD players to DJ software and midicontroller is also his pleasure. Therefore not even the music style but even the mixing technique expanded and changed significant over the years.
DJ Promille is not commercially depending on mixing, so the top goal is to satisfy myself. Indeed everyone having fun with the mixes is welcome. I hope you enjoy the results of my hobby just like I do.
