Radio art director, music curator & vinyl selector, Azafrán has been honing his skills behind the decks since 1986 and has experienced -hand the birth, rise and evolution of club culture. Today, he draws on his vinyl archive to select the tracks best suited to the context, aiming to captivate the dance floor with a timeless, hypnotic vibe.
His sets are an analogue journey that bridges the organic energy of the past with the hypnotic minimalism of the future. He dislikes pre-programmed sets and easy, commercial ‘drops’; he prefers long transitions, the vibration of the live bass drum and the beauty of imperfection that only the turntable can offer.
