Mauricio Vazquez aka "DJ 2Fresh" began his career in the Bay Area during
the early gritty, glorious days of the legendary SF underground alongside
many veteran career dj's, legends, and great contributors of our
underground soul filled, San Francisco music sound.
Lured into the DJ dark arts by Herbie Hancock's "Rock It" (the live
version, of course) quickly turned him from his then love affair within
the arts of "bombing and tagging" that has since given way to developing
his talent as fine artist. Alas from the humble beginnings as a hired gun
for private parties, DJ 2Fresh managed to make a name and career for
himself that's led to spinning with the big boys across the country and
across the pond. He's also know for showing off his cross genre
capabilities by touring as the opening act for musical greats like, Run
DMC, The Mary Jane Girls, and the Tom Tom Club!
Currently developing a reputation as "The Fastest DJ on the Planet" for
mega mixing with vinyl.
