DJ XL-R8 has been spinning vinyl since '94 and lists Carl Cox, Oakenfold and co as his earliest influences. His earliest gigs were playing his Grandparents 50th Wedding anniversary, a local youth club every Sun and community halls for school discos. Since these humble beginnings he has progressed to playing the top music festivals in Ireland such as Planet Love, Life and Electric Picnic. When XL-R8 takes to the decks you can expect to hear several genres mixed flawlessly to build the set up and take it down at times to keep the crowd up for it.
Over the years XL-R8 has had the pleasure of playing alongside Mark Kavanagh, Mr Spring, Andy Farley, Paul Maddox, Bryan Kearney, Jenny Greene, Karl Davis, John Kerrigan, Paul Webstar, Eddie Halliwell, Lisa Lashes, Scot Project, Mark EG, Alex Kidd, Judge Jules, Cosmic Gate and more
