Dion and the Magic Chords started off with Dion, playing alone and feeling lonely. Untill he met Griffin, in a place called Poortgebouw, although this story is contested by Griffin. He says that we met in some hostel called Room Hostel. Anh Griffin said : "Hey, we could make cool stuff together" as she saw Dion walking around with one of his many organs, an old Sprinter GEM from the 7o's. Griffin liked it, as it reminds him of old computer games and particularly "the Old Commodor 64".
The two kept seeing each other, Dion showed Griffin his first songs, CURIOSA and CITY LIGHT MOTION. They thought the two of them won't be enough, so they spent months, looking for a proper guitarist. Thay tried out with five different guys. They were good, no doubt about, but they were missing the connection to the MUSIC.
When the guitar went surely out, the visuals came in and, ultimately Joeri, Dion's housemate. The story goes on, and from now on many more should take p
