Bryan Winther (Dexter Rutecki) is a native of the Greater Philadelphia Area and has been rocking the decks for over 15 years. In 2000, after catching a showing of Groove in Ithaca, NY, Bryan decided, on the spot, that he was going to become a DJ. A week later, he was spinning vinyl on his first (and only) set of Technics 1200s at a local house party.
Bryan moved back to the Philly area in 2011 and was introduced to the city’s vibrant underground music scene by an old college friend who had recently founded the Bubbles and Bass camp. Since then, he has been involved with a number of popular recurring parties including Bubbles & Bass, Bangarang, and Groove Theory (West Chester, PA). He has an extremely broad and eclectic taste in music and his style has evolved through many different iterations over the years. Most recently, his love of southern rap and deep house have been driving his sets toward a unique nu disco g-house blend, featuring tracks from Sharam Jey, Shiba San, and Volac.
