For me, DJing is a personal art-form. It is a way of exploring music. Through mixing, I can combine music to create new meanings and sounds. It is a way to document my personal tastes at a moment in time and document the changing tides of music genres and what is new and fresh. DJing is also a process of self-discovery through the selecting tracks for a mix and then listening to those mixes and reflecting on what I chose and created.

I've been making mix tapes for as long as I can remember. I make mixes for the joy of mixing and listening to music. I make mixes to listen to while I'm drawing or doing chores.
