Don Clark also known as re:search. Born and raised on the south side of Chicago, started dj’ing at the tender age of 11 thanks to his best friend, whose parents bought him a mixer and two turntables to keep him busy and out of the streets.
Don was influenced by many of the people around him who most would consider the first generation of house, sneaking out of his mother’s house to witness the now legendary Mendel Catholic parties where he would see future legends including Ron Hardy, Eric Moore, and Wayne Willams, and George Jackson.
As the resident Dj at Uptown Lounge re:search has played along side a long list of DJ luminaries including Lego, Terry “Frique” Allen, Mel Hammond, Mike Seraphine, Julius "The Mad Thinker", Monna, John "BID" Simmons, Dave Sabat, FLX, Dave Britton, DJ "V", Lokua, Darrell Woodson, Greg Norword, FLX, Shani, and Scott Wozniak.
