Deejay Soso is a creative Dj and producer who saw a business opportunity in his talent. His
involvement in music grew in 2001 when he started writing songs and doing voice recordings at
his home. In 2002 he met Khanyisa Twani (Tso-man). The pair later formed a group called DSSK
(Dumisani, Sinethemba, Songeziwe & Khanyisa), through their inspiration of writing songs
during school intervals, which comprised of four members. The group which specialized in
kwaito music added three more members and changed the group name to DSSK Rolla 7. In
2006 the members of Rolla 7 parted ways and Deejay Soso joined a hip-hop group called S4L
(Slaves for lyrics).
In 2007, he was part of a recording label formation in Cala called D.E.P. Music. He seized the
opportunity of releasing his first solo house album called D.E.P Sweet Destiny Volume 1 that
featured hit songs ntombazana umncinci which scooped him an interview with Dj Luks Gidane
at Umhlobo Wenene fm. He also collaborated with Dj Quje o
