DJ Kanu was born, bread and buttered in the township of Soshanguve (Pretoria) South Africa, in Gauteng. This friendly fellow started his DJ career in 2003 as a mobile Dj at parties around Pretoria. He received major recognition in 2004, when he held residency at a most prominent club in Gauteng (Octo_Lounge), the club ultimately closed in xxxxx. Since then he has never stopped driving folk’s crazy with his style of sexy Soulful House music, he basically played almost everywhere in and around Pretoria, from the dance floor to his most raved about Mix tapes [deejaykanu@podomatic.com]. This wicket guy basically grew up at the dance floor. If you ask him, he’s always single… oooo!!
Dj Kanu belongs to the Sunday Imbizo moniker, which is responsible for organising the most raved parties around Pretoria, which has featured some of the best and world renowned DJs.
