Originally from London, Burn has been down under in New Zealand for a decade, searching for the sound he left behind. Naturally, the small town life wasn't for him. After galivanting around the two islands that make up Aotearoa, trying to avoid hard labour, Burn settled in Auckland. He has hosted a radio show on KFM for 3 years now, specialising in ghetto funk and roots music. Burn obtained a qualification to back his 12 years of djing at a music school. He learnt to Dj at the age of 14, mixing dnb on vinyl, and after several years of being unwilling to change format, has now mastered Serato Scratch Live. Burn prides himself on being able to play any genre, on any format, at any event, from funerals to raves! Burn is inspired by the sounds of UK Garage and Jungle and with the help of the digital age, loves to "mash-up" the dance floor. He is currently on the hunt for new residencies.
