Decolonoise brings you music and chat from the campaign organisers of student-led Student Union campaign "Decolonise Sussex" at the University of Sussex.
The show hopes to educate and entertain with interesting topics and music from around the globe. Leave everything you have learned and join us in decolonising our minds and our music collections.
Decolonise Sussex asks: Where does 'universal' knowledge come from? What is being excluded from our curriculum? What power structures are at play at our University?
We want our education to make us think critically rather than perpetuate existing power structures. We want to challenge institutional racism.
For Autumn term 2019 we broadcast live every 2 weeks on Tuesdays 3pm-4pm. Our first show is on Tuesday 15th October 2019.
