Deadly Vanity is comprised of Joel Waznicky and James MacGregor. A DJ and production duo based out of Toronto, Canada. Each played in various different bands over the years but it wasn’t until 2008 that they reconnected and started writing music together for the first time. Digging the musical ideas that were coming to life they decided to form a band with a few friends to expand on what they were creating and to bring it to a live audience.In the short time since their incarnation they've had the fortune of sharing the stage with some of the world’s best DJ’s: Tiga, Tale of Us, Robert Babicz, Russ Yallop, Justin James, Joy Orbison, Chaim, Nitin, Ray Okpara, and Satoshi Tomiie. And with the inception of the Electric Island festival a few years back they found themselves on the 1st season’s closing event. A definite highlight of their DJing career thus far.
They recently signed their4th release, "The Unsayable EP" with Uxoa Dutxa Elite and it will be available Feb 1st/2016 on Beatport
