De Haga is an alias of the electronic musician and Toronto native Haig Bedrossian based in New York (born 1970). He describes his music as "creating an experience that takes you somewhere else". His virtual experiences fill headphone obsessed listeners with ambient, beat, electronic, and melodic compositions. He is unsigned.
At the age of 12, Haig build his own sound synthesizer from component electronics. He dedicates his music to a family relative who had first showed him how to build a voice vocoder out of household radio parts.
The name de Haga originates from The Enchanted lands of Bemersyde. A place where the Scottish clan of Haig have owned for eight hundred years.
