Listening History

Norwich, United Kingdom
DJ / producer & sometimes a duo. Back in the 2000's when you could still smoke a pipe in the club & gin was not popular, we got involved in luring big house DJ's into East Anglia. Being a less commercial genre at the time, this often posed many challenges, firstly getting the DJ to agree to play, but then to find a crowd who appreciated it.
Through focusing efforts like minded DJ’s - Unique Music was spawned, this brought established names like Chris Lake, King Unique, Tom Neville, The BeatThiefs while promoting upcoming local talent.
Many smaller spin off nights, held at the now defunct Mustard Lounge in Norwich called Elev-8, with appearances from Noir (Denmark) and Janette Slack, to name drop a few.
Overdose run by the Spin Monkeys at Po Na NA's was our last residency with bookings alongside the likes of X-Press2, Sonny Warton, Daniel Devoli (Black Box), Kissy Sellout, MYNC - it was always a good night.
