I’m a “bedroom artist” from Columbia, SC, formerly from Atlanta, GA. I was raised in Florida and moved to Atlanta in 1980 to attend Georgia Tech where I worked at WREK, the student radio station. There, I was exposed to widely diverse music. Around 1985-1988 I hosted the station’s weekly local band live broadcast, meeting many Atlanta bands. In 1987 I performed with the band Gabrielle And Bam-Bam as co-drummer, and shortly afterward formed my own band Sex And Violence as lead singer, songwriter, and rhythm guitar player. Joining me were Anaconda (my GF) on bass, Meg on drums. and Benjamin (now known as Benjamin Smoke). Benjamin went on to other projects and posthumous fame and my band continued as Vomitorium Emporium with new co-drummer Donna Kay. Later Donna moved on to a new band, King Kill 33, Anaconda moved on to Snatch, I went on to home recording, boat loads of goth-industrial dance nights, etc.
