I started DJing at local parties in my hometown of Dumbarton, Scotland in the early 90’s then progressed to the bars and clubs of the pioneering Glasgow scene and held several long running residencies at some of the more notorious venues in the city (Remedy @ Adlib and Sundays @ Alaska) as well as the ‘Deep’ boat parties on the misty waters of Loch Lomond with the 2of7 crew - hence the name 'Davie Deep'. I scored a win in the DJ Magazine - Up & Comers of '98 after playing several of their parties in Scotland and England that year. A date playing Non Stop on the island of Skye lead to a long standing affiliation with all things Skye and regular visits where I played alongside Ralph Lawson, Slam, Andy Weatherall, Mylo and Justin Robertson. Further residencies followed in the nations capital, Edinburgh, before moving to Sydney where I've played various parties including the mighty S.A.S.H. and working on productions.
