David Rodriques was born in Jamaica Portland Cottage Vere Clarendon.
As the son of the pastor, he spent most of his early years singing and taking part in the church.
The love for sound system culture, reggae and dancehall music came at the age of 12 when he was going to high school in the big city May Pen where loud music was played on the streets blazing through the speakers and some guys selling cassettes from the popular sound systems like Bodyguard, Stone Love etc.
At the age of 15 \16 he went on tour with one of the biggest sounds Concorde in Portland Cottage to parties and dancehalls all over the island.
Later he played in Aruba, then moved to Holland where he is now playing for the biggest sound system in Europe (HERB-A-LIZE IT) all over the world - Holland, Germany, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Israel, Miami and also on the biggest festivals in Europe - Ruhr Reggae Summer, Freshtival,
