David Goins was born and raised in Chicago Illinois and has been a Dj for almost 30 years. He grew up in Logan Square and went to Prosser Vocational High School.
As a teen his first exposure to the art of the Dj was by listening to the Hot Mix 5 on WBMX. He fell in love with music. Shortly after learning the craft he started playing at local school dances and battles. Playing guest spots and DJ battles at The Rainbow Disco in 1985 and other local halls and underground parties. He now enjoys playing most genres of current Mainstream Dance music but still plays and has a deep love for Chicago Style House, Deep house and Old School.
