Inspired by his passion for skateboarding and a love of electronic music, David Andrus found himself behind the decks in the early 2000s under the name of Skatan.

In the early years, David joined the esteemed Klubstompers crew and was a prominent figure in Seattle's underground scene.He initially gravitated towards the pulsating sounds of UK Hard House and Nu-NRG, but over time embraced the darker, driving rhythms of Techno.

In the early 2010s, he made the decision to step away from performing to focus on his career in software engineering. However, the call of the music never left him, and he still made the occasional DJ mix and dabbled in production.

As David reemerges in 2024, he finds himself delving deeper into the raw, groovy, and tribal elements of electronic music. This year marks a significant milestone in his journey, as he prepares to release new DJ mixes, original productions, and previously unreleased sets with a renewed dedication to the craft.
