Dave Skinz is an experienced campaigner who has donned many hats in his 25 year plus involvement in the South African Electronic Music Scene. Over his career he has played with an incredible array of names in the both the local and international scenes while serving over 18 years of his career as a weekly resident in some of SA's most underground venues.
Dave is a distinctive personality whose unique viewpoint of the scene and technical abilities have led to him to consult, mentor and judge a host of prestigious DJ competitions such as the National DJ Battle and the world’s first DJ reality show on SABC1 called “1’s and 2’s” which went into five seasons.
Skinz is a hugely respected figure in the scene and has a deep understanding of its many facets. He connects with clubbers and captains of industry alike and his knowledge and passion leaves a lasting impression wherever he goes.
