I've been DJing for 30+ years, playing a mixture of Disco, Funk, Soul, House, Jazz, Beats and Brazilian music. I used to work in Nottingham's Funky Monkey record shop and was a resident at the now defunct Spectrum club night. This saw me regularly DJ in venues such as The Bomb , The Social and Stealth supporting DJ's/Acts such as Gilles Peterson, Crazy P, Breakestra, Quantic, Aim, Faze Action, Bonobo and more.
