I've been musical in one way or another since a very early age, learning to play the drums & keyboard at school. After studying Popular Music at University, I met up with Nick Rowland in the early 00’s and started writing and producing under the name Phatt Bloke & Slim – I was the Phatt one!
Our early tunes were signed to Alphamagic under a variety of labels, and under the name Rowland & Wright we were signed to Nukleuz, Tidy Trax, Infective, Heat and Sundissential, to name but a few, with a unique Hard Trance style which amassed well over 50 releases in a three year period.
DJ’ing across the UK, as well as in Canada, I've enjoyed many a night rocking dancefloors. More recently however, I've gone back to my roots and started writing my first love – Trance - still the upbeat, power trance 138+bpm style trance mind you!
Working on my own, and with Glynn Alan, I have releases on Nu:Communicate, DLA, Electric Shandy White to name but a few, so keep your ears peeled for more soon!
