Darko Markovski is a Macedonian DJ and radio presenter with a career spanning over three decades. Since 1994, he’s been part of key radio stations in Skopje, including Antenna 5, A1 Radio, Club FM, and JazzFM.mk. Inspired by the sounds of New Wave, ‘80s synth-pop, and the iconic Hacienda club scene, he began his journey at Club Musandra before moving into radio, where he hosted shows like Top 20 Chart, Večerna Gimnastika, Jazz Groove, and MasterGEM. A true lover of electronic and alternative music, Darko helped pioneer these genres on Macedonian radio. His DJ sets blend house, techno, disco, minimal, and pop, reflecting a rich and evolving musical taste. He has performed in clubs across Macedonia and abroad, including Berlin, Atlanta, Sofia, and Belgrade. Over the years, he has shared the stage with global icons such as Marshall Jefferson, Steve Bug, Danny Howells, Nooncat, Brett Johnson, DJ Chloé, David Duriez, Rob Mello, Phil Weeks, Margaret Dygas and Robert Owens.
