Don Carrington, ‘Dapper Don’ aims to deliver a stylized musical experience to every event.
Called ‘Dapper’ because of his slick sense of style and professionalism, Don ensures that these qualities pervade all aspects of his life, including his music.
Asked about his love for music, Don responded “Music was always part of my life, there was always music playing in the house as a child.” “My grandfather owned a bar and I used to watch the records spin in the juke box and I was totally fascinated.”
Influenced by reggae and dancehall, calypso and soca, rap and hip hop, Don started his music collection while still in his teens. This collection has now expanded to cover all musical genres.
Don began DJ-ing while at university.In 2011, Don attended the Institute of Broadcasting Careers and formalized training in his craft under the guidance of DJ Z-Roc“My broad love for music allows me to touch every person, every age, every genre. It’s not just music, it’s an experience!”
