Over the last 20 years Danny Sharkey has held residencies at the world famous Sub Club in Glasgow, Mas, Various secret after-hours venues and his own Under the Hood nights all over the city of Glasgow. In Europe he held a residency on the Electro Juice Boat in Bordeaux and at the Wunderboat soiree's on Bordeaux's new venue, The IBoat. His biggest influences are local legends Subculture, of Sub Club, Glasgow, where he's covered for residents Harri and Domenic, and Slam, particularly during the Daft Punk years. Although he's also ran his own nights bringing and supporting people like Derrick Carter, Ricardo Villalobos, Paul Woolford, Losoul, Charles Webster & Ralph Lawson to name a few, it's the love and joy in performance that keeps bringing him back to being behind the turntables.
