Kirk Cornelius Brown, stage name Dandexx, was born in Kingston, Jamaica. With the influence of musicians such as Bob Marley and Peter Tosh, music was more than just a hobby for him. He began as early as 1993 as a true lyricist. With a genuine love for reggae music he started to record professionally in 2000. In 1997 he made his first major appearance at Pier One in Montego Bay and soon after several other prestigious venues in Jamaica. With a welcoming response from fans, Dandexx embraced his musical calling. Dandexx released several singles & received great reviews from his growing fan base & further local & international airplay on mainstream radio. The success of his music lead him to book shows such as STING 2004, and Rebel Salute 2006. He has now recorded 5 albums. Mastered at Tuff Gong Studios, Jamaica & the legendary Westlake Studios, Hollywood and others. He's now committed to fully promoting his music that he describes as ‘positive' & 'influential'.
