Emerging from the vibrant electronic music scenes of Richmond, VA, Washington D.C., and Denver | Boulder, CO, Dan Knots is a DJ and budding producer known for his minimalist yet dynamic approach to techno, hardgroove, and tech funk.
His musical journey began in 2007 as an avid attendee of concerts, clubs, raves, and festivals, where he cultivated a deep appreciation for modern and historic dance music as well as passion for its roots as a vibrant and diverse other space.
This passion led him to find roles in event promotion, photography and videography, artist management, VJing, and creative design with organizations such as Nu Androids (DC), LX Group (RVA), and The Zookeepers (NYC|CO). His focus was always to give back and grow the community in any way he could.
With a commitment to authenticity and a passion-driven approach, he continues to share his evolving artistry with an ever-expanding audience.
