Got into house music in my late teens '97 / '98 I'd say … my mate took me to my first ever "rave" at a night club in Cape Town called Dockside (state of the art sound & laser system for the time, with a capacity for 7500 people) where Paul Oakenfold was headlining for the evening !! Well! Let's just say the rest is history … this ex-rock purist was a convert ;-) I dabbled with a set of Technics 1210's for a while but unfortunately never discovered any amazing hidden talent. Nowadays I'm a family man and obsessed with road cycling … I mainly listen to house music for motivation when doing grueling training sessions in the gym :-)
