South London producer and DJ, Neil Keating aka Controlled Weirdness has been manning the decks and releasing music for well over 30 years and has been at the front line of all aspects of club and underground sound system culture since the early 80’s. His musical CV includes playing everywhere from plush clubs to dirty warehouses as well as hosting various shows on pirate radio. He has released music on numerous underground electronic labels and was responsible for organizing a series of legendary raves in the USA in the early 90’s as well as travelling and playing extensively throughout Europe and beyond. He has an eclectic and seriously deep collection of original vinyl built up over this period and it reflects an appreciation of all elements of the London groove. He runs 2 labels, Unearthly and Presence Unknown and currently does a monthly radio show on Threads.
