Hi, I’m Colin Peters, I was literally born on the water. Raised among musicians, technicians and radio presenters. I caught 'The Bug' very early in life. When I was 6 years old I tuned in to Radio Veronica on 192 meters medium wave for the first time. When I got my first job -in aviation- I bought two old Sony turntables and a mixer and started playing records in my room. Later, I sold those turntables and this would bring me in contact with someone who operated a local FM station were I went on the air for the first time. From there it went on but the sea was calling me. I found out where the 'Radio Monique' office was based and took some bold steps and went in. December 1986 was my first trip out on the beautiful tender, 'Bellatrix', all the way from Den Oever, Holland, in a gale force 8. The next afternoon I saw what was to me the most beautiful Radio Ship on the planet. The MV Ross Revenge.
