London, United Kingdom

Originating from deep within the Yorkshire Rhubarb Triangle Chris began taking pictures aged 10 with a Minolta X500 he bought second hand from Bradford Camera Exchange with all his pocket money.

Attracted by the bright lights of London he secured a place at Chelsea School of Art to do a Fine Art Painting Degree. The course allowed him to continue his interest in photography which subsequently went on to become his preferred medium of expression.

After finishing at Chelsea Chris assisted a handful of established photographers, following which he took the leap and struck out on his own.

Based in East London, with his partner Nancy and their two children, Chris is an award winning freelance photographer working predominantly in portraiture, shooting anything from A list celebrities to cutting edge talent both in the studio and on location.

Chris is also the photographer behind the landmark MP Portraits Project which took place in a studio set up in The Palace of Westminster.
