Citizen Zain is an all around music junky based in Bakersfield, CA. He lived in Oakland before the pandemic and had a weekly radio show on KALX 90.7FM in Berkeley where he hosted artists such as Claude Von Stroke, Amon Tobin and Squarepusher. Collecting music is Citizen Zain’s obsession and sharing it is his passion. Having a love for different styles of music, he prides on being a genre non-conforming DJ. His sets fill a sonic canvas of eclectic and electric sounds from all the known and unknown beat makers, the heavy bass shakers, the soulful melody players and conscious rhyme sayers.
