Got into artists such as Stan Getz, Grover Washington Jr, Players Association, Eddie Henderson, Ronnie Laws, etc....from the age of 13. As I grew up, I stumbled on Greg Edwards 'Soul Spectrum' on Capital Radio which led me to spend every spare penny on 12" singles - I still have most of the originals I bought: Hi Voltage - Let's Get Horny (Tee Scott production), Al McCall - Hard Times (West End) - I could go on! Around the same time met a DJ called Les Knott (one of he original Caister Soul Weekender jocks) and we're still friends to this day - he got me my first Radio show on HHR when I was 19 - cheers Les!
