Passion for electronic music started about 25 years ago with Oakenfold's "Travelling", then got interested in Sasha and Digweed, Nick Warren, a lot of the older Global Underground DJs. I always had a thing for broken beats, even before I knew the term Breakbeat. Today I'm into a lot of more "out there" stuff from artists like Alf Champion, Myula, Lord of the Isles, Red Axes, and Lake People to name a few. I like a more natural sound, rustic, not as much cut to the bone beeps and boops. A lot of deeper stuff. A lot of broken beats, but not always. No genre pigeonholes, just vibes. I usually get an idea for an environment or a feeling, and make a DJ mix album about it. Whether it be trippy desert vibes, afterhours vibes, otherworldly, the journey, the destination, melancholy and rainy, cosmic, underwater, back alley, dark deepness type shit. You know?
