Chris Tavener is a satirical singer-songwriter known for his mischievously witty lyrics, well-crafted songwriting and a vintage sound.

Originally from Northwich in Cheshire, Chris grew up listening to rock music, 60’s folk and indie. From age 17 he was writing his own material, mostly about himself. Now at age 22, he critiques modern society and tells unique stories in whimsical, olde worlde acoustic songs.

With over 200 performances in 2015 so far, Chris is one of the most hard-working musicians in the North West having appeared at major festivals such as the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Headlander Festival and The Acoustic Festival of Britain.
