Chris Crass a.k.a “DJ Crazz” is a talented DJ who regularly has his hand in a variety of projects other than
mixing and scratching including producing beats, and rapping. He began experimenting with records at 19 and, several
months later while backpacking through Europe he landed several gigs in an attempt to earn some cash. Once back in
the US he began paying his dues rocking house parties and mastering the art of scratching for a couple years. Later,
while visiting his home in Dominican Republic, he landed a residency at LAX in Cabarete. He performed at
several venues (bars and clubs) and gigs (from weddings to surf contests) spinning music varying from hip hop and
electronic to the local favorites reggae and latin music (merengue and reggaeton).Now, since graduation from college,
he has pursued his DJ career relentlessly and can be seen regularly at SF venues. He is also one third
of the Bay Area rap group SMI (Sick Minds Incorporated) along with producer Doc 2ce
