Alexandre Mandarino was born in Rio and is a producer and DJ. With his project Chip Totec, he's been creating techno, house, electro, ambient, and breakbeats since 1998. He also creates sound art and was first place in the 2012/2013 edition of the Concurso Latinoamericano de Composición Electroacustica y Electrónica Gustavo Becerra-Schmidt, from Santiago, Chile, with the composition Curtain of Ruins.
