In 2016, “Ready To Boom" sent shockwaves. As of this year on Mixcloud, it still holds the title among it’s 3M active users, for most plays on an upload. The project found success thanks to a co-sign from Metro Boomin himself, though Chi Duly is no stranger to these catapulting surprise endorsements.
He captured hearts on college campus’ everywhere with “October’s Very Cold”. In 2012, his "Ballons of Haus" remix earned a rave review and shout out from The Weeknd himself. Even one-off bootleg remixes for artists like Frank Ocean, Calvin Harris were stirring conversation in outlets like The Huffington Post. With 2015 came the release of his third project “6ixKong (Drake x Donkey Kong Country)” which Complex described as “Pure flames”. Official remixes are where his sound truly began to blossom, most notably his 2016 Columbia Records collaboration with soul singer Leon Bridges and the iconic Bun B for “Better Man”.
