I've been condemned to rock and roll since I first picked up a guitar at the age of eleven. I started singing and playing in bands when I was about fourteen and went on to study popular music to degree level.

Currently, my musical raison d'etre is Mitford Rebel, in which I am guitarist, chief songwriter and second vocalist. I am also the guitarist (and occasional backing vocalist) in Morecambe's premier ska and reggae covers band - The Reggie Mental Band!

I live in Lancaster with my two lady bandmates and an agoraphobic cat called Cherry. It would be really easy to guess if our house was on Through The Keyhole, as the hallway is full of amplifiers and we use our Mitford Rebel stage banner as a rug in the living room.

Things I may be found doing when I am not making music include: working in a corner shop, reading a nerdy book, drinking rum, watching a movie under many blankets, doing a crossword, having a bubble
