[cash-eek] is the musical alias of Floyd Pepper, a New Zealand-based producer whose work seamlessly blends electronic and acoustic elements. This project began organically for Floyd after more than a decade of songwriting, performing and recording with bands. CASHEK marked the beginning of a personal quest to explore more experimental sound production. His music can be squeezed into many genres but underpinning it all is a bed of rich compositions filled with emotive textures, juicy basslines, and lush soundscapes.
