Byon Kay / 倍音ケイイチ

Hi, my name is Byon Kay. Byon means overtone or harmonics in Japanese. I play some simple, mysterious, small and cheap instruments such as Jew's harp, Nose flute, Barimbin, Khean, Overtone flute… I also use Loop pedal to show the music of combination of these instruments.

I started play Jew's harp about 17years ago. Since then I performed on the street, flea market, club, pub, and festivals such as Ancient trance(Germany), International Jew's harp festival(Hungary), Rainbow serpent, Summer dreaming (Australia), Auckland festival(New Zealand),Didgeridoo and overtone festival (Israel) Mangetsusai, Ainumoshiri(Japan)... I also do workshop.

From 2014, I move to Fukuoka City in Japan. And from 2015, I started touring in Hong Kong, Macau and China. I played at Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Dongguan, Zhongshan, Nanning, Guilin, Yangshuo, Kunming and Dali.
I believe that everyone can express his own music by Jew's harp or simple instruments. It is not for competition
