Established in 2007 by http://www.mixcloud.com/bynar, a mashup artist, radio producer, graphic designer, and DJ, Bynar’s Indie Disco (www.djbynar.com) is a music blog dedicated to spreading the indie / post-punk subculture and exposing people’s ears to good music. It aims to serve as a spotlight for independent artists that don’t have a large amount of mainstream exposure by featuring handpicked mashups, covers, remixes, acoustic sessions, compilations, guest mixes, free downloads, as well as links to Bynar’s archived radio shows and the Indie Disco podcast – a two-hour long mix of effervescent dance beats, shoegaze harmonies, new wave hooks, and post-punk aesthetics..
