Picking up his first pair of decks in 2004, 'bsuave' has since came along way in the music scene. His method of spinning has been known as a unique and original style- utilizing hip hop, cut n scratch quick style mixing techniques over various genres during a single set. An example of a set would include mashed up sounds of golden era hip hop, glitch hop, fidget house, cumbia sonidero, reggae, acid jazz, dubstep, old school reggaeton, tech house, jump up drum n bass, cumbia digital, jungle, breakbeats, p-funk, etc etc. This unique method of spinning gained him notable local fame among his peers especially after winning Battle of the DJs at Foothill High in 2009.
