boom grew up listening to Soul and the Brit Funk explosion of the early 80s, following on from that boom embraced the Electro and Hip Hop culture of the mid 80s.
Moving forward to 89 helping out at pirate radio station called IBC and DJ'ing soon Followed,
In the early 90s becoming a DJ for Manchester based label SKAM Records and was soon playing all over the UK and also doing shows for Kiss FM with the SKAM collective with a show called Disengage.
boom was soon travelling all over Europe....... Italy(Bologna) Switzerland(Luzern Zurich) Germany(Berlin) Belgium(Ghent) and The Netherlands(Den Haag) Ireland(Dublin).
while doing this boom has written 2 albums and numerous 12s for some of Electronica's most elusive imprints.
Having now come full circle, boom's show 'SOULFOOD' for 'CHOCOLATE RADIO' showcases the sounds of those early years.
