Bocs is a cooperative, contemporary and experimental art hub in Caernarfon, North Wales that promotes and nurtures young and emerging artists.
Bocs members are Cathryn Lowri Griffith, Catrin Menai, Charles Yorke, Chris Higson, David Michael Lyndon Thomas, Dion Hamer, Gemma Bourne, Gethin Wavell Lloyd Jones, Lisa Eurgain Taylor, Mererid Haf, Nader Kohbodi, Osian Efnisien, Rebecca F. Hardy, Rhys Lloyd Jones, Sarah McEachran, and Yvonne Tsang.
Our objects as a non-profit are:
• To help young people by providing and promoting opportunities that will develop their creative skills and enable them to benefit society through cultural regeneration.
• To maintain a creative industries centre that will act as a catalyst in young people starting work within the field.
• To use young contemporary arts for the cultural, economic, and social benefits of the local community and the wider public.
• To enhance the importance of the contemporary arts in education.
