Bob's first band in NJ was The Blue Coats in 1965. In 2014, they did a short 50th Anniversary Tour in Florida and New Jersey. Florida bands included The Dues Band, Sawtooth, The Suspects and Big Street from 1973-91.The Crossroad Blues Band was formed in the Tampa Bay Area in 1996. After 15 years playing local clubs, the cable TV show "Rick's on the River" and the Taste of Tampa, the band has relocated in the Northeast Ohio area. The band has also been featured on a Youngstown Cable produced TV show broadcast from Chippers Sport's Bar in 2011 and in 2014, were included in a segment of Eddy Bonte's Internet Radio 68 show "My Generation" and ranked #1 Best Blues Band in NE Ohio area on ReverbNation.
New bass player Mel Pachuta, as a member of the Human Beinz, had a #8 national hit with "Nobody But Me" in 1967. Their version of "Turn on Your Lovelight" was a #1 hit in Japan in 1968.
The band plays a mixture of upbeat and soulful blues.
