When we talk about bass music we don’t mean the bastardised commercial version currently being sold to children, we mean underground dancefloor music, whether it be drum and bass, jungle, reggae, dub, hiphop, garage, footwork, grime, dubstep, house, techno, electronica etc.
As Duke Ellington puts it “There are two kinds of music. Good music, and the other kind.”
