If you want to show some love to DJs and radio stations you feel deserve more recognition, we’ve released a feature called Spotlights. It allows you to highlight the creators you follow and share them on your profile. You can select up to 10 profiles via your For You Page and even leave a personalised note about why you’re into them. Your ringing endorsement then reaches your followers, allowing them to discover new mixes and creators while helping your favourites gain more exposure. We’re excited to dig into your recommendations!
Making use of Spotlights, Cosmic Bob is a music historian. As a founding member of Love Will Save The Day FM and a resident at Aaja Radio, Bob focuses on independent and grassroots communities and building musical bridges between them. His shows have incredible range. You can expect to hear Funk, Balearic, Disco and a bit of Detroit Techno on an extra special day. In London’s packed community radio scene, Cosmic Bob is one of its key players. We asked him to share his top three Spotlights, read on for his selections.
Sarah Gregory
A multidisciplinary creative, Sarah Gregory combines the written word with radio to tell nuanced stories. With bylines for the likes of Shindig! Magazine and Record Collector Magazine, as well as a regular Saturday show on Love Will Save The Day FM, she dives deep into the worlds of legendary nightclubs, sounds and more.
“Sarah is an amazing music writer,” Cosmic Bob says. “She’s had pieces published on everything from DJ History to Record Collector. She only started DJing in late 2023 and has established herself in a Saturday morning slot on Love Will Save The Day FM. Her shows are absolutely fantastic. The music selections are as broad as they are deep.”
Kitchen Radio
Based in Sheffield, Kitchen Radio has been active for just over a year and already made a splash. A community-led creative hub for the city’s music scene, its pink logo is iconic at this point. They offer platforms to local and national creatives in equal measure. They stream live every Monday and Saturday from 9-5pm GMT, and Thursday evenings from 6-10pm GMT, so don’t miss out. “Kitchen Radio started in late 2024 and provides an inclusive space for artists, musicians and DJs to get on air, welcoming all levels and providing support,” Cosmic Bob shares.
AnotherPeoplePlace
A party and sound system based in Glasgow, AnotherPeoplePlace channels the past into its present. Inspired by institutions like Plastic People, their parties are inclusive and embrace every weird and wonderful crevice of dance music. So, if you’re based in Glasgow, keep a look out for your potentially new favourite rave!
“Having hand-built a sound system over the last couple of years, AnotherPeoplePlace have been putting on parties in Glasgow since late 2025,” Cosmic Bob divulges. “Judging by the recordings on Mixcloud, they sound absolutely fantastic! They’re building a community inspired by the openness of Plastic People and Cosmic Slop. I really can’t wait to get up there for a dance.”
